Entrance Requirements

1. English Language
International students must have a good command of written and spoken English. If English is not your first language you will be required to meet with the DIMIA regulations, that is IELTS test result of 5.5 or equivalent internationally recognised exam result. International students without the required English ability can enroll for English Language instruction at an approved Hospitality Training Australia supplier.

2. Academic
Requirements

International students should have satisfactorily completed year 12 or equivalent. If a student has not achieved this level then they will need to demonstrate an ability to succeed in the chosen course. Mature age students will also be considered without minimum education requirement but with relevant work experience.
Successful Admission If an applicant meets the entrance requirements they will be admitted to their chosen course.

3. Visas to Study in
Australia

The Australia Government welcomes people who are not Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents to study in Australia and has set a number of requirements that operate to regulate and protect the industry and intending students.         Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) :

This Certificate Course has a duration of one year. In this course, the students spend 1 day in off the job classes and 2 days in a real working environment (demonstration & commercial kitchens) with a average attandence of 21 hours in a week.

In the commercial kitchen, the students are required to complete a specified number of practical assessments. On successful completion of all the assessments, students are deemed ready to acquire this Certificate of qualification and then enter the workforce.

A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) reflects the role of a quilified cook. Successful completion of this Certificate Course can lead the students to the following opportunities:
Commercial / Professional cook in a Big Restaurant
Cook in a Cafe
Cook in a convention Center
